The editor here was asked a while ago to "edit a book" so that it sounded like one voice. Then they asked the editor to publish it. And now to do a web site and market it.
We started by giving out a few copies of the book and asking for comments. But before most of the comments came in, America had had a Presidential election.
So we developed a strategy. We would use the website to market the book, but also a few blogs. Now, as everybody knows, the new President is attacking the world. It is not the first time America has done that, of course..."And so once again Oh, America my friend And so once again You are fighting us all..."
Our plan is this: there are a lot of intelligent and ethical responses to the actions of Donald Trump. But intelligence and ethics are irrelevant to Trump and his supporters.
So we will remind the reader that it is America that will be the big loser in a Trump regime - along with the democratic world itself. And we will leave the intelligent and ethical rational arguments to others - since as we say, they are meaningless to him. Our own response in the blogs will be to talk to him the way he talks to everybody else - patronizing mockery.
We are: an editor, a road repair worker, a grocery store worker, a teacher, and a pastor. Sometimes doing good means challenging the bad.

We are on a mission to:
try to make America a partner to the rest of the democratic world, and not an enemy;
invite America to develop a more highly evaluated form of democracy than the Democracy Index recent evaluation as the world's 26th best democracy, and as a "flawed democracy";
challenge America in particular not to revert to autocracy...as the book warns, and as Little Donnie and Baby Big Boss are doing;
see that although there is a quote in the book about education being the great equalizer, we all work to make that more of a reality, and not just a pious wish.
Our vision
We want to live in a world where people will feel FREEDOM FROM ABUSE, rather than FREEDOM TO ABUSE.
And where people realize that the two major threats to such freedom are aggression toward other people and aggression toward the environment.
Where evil-doers are not given power.
And where each person's life is a treasure.
